Research
Connected by our shared passion for sports, Co’Mander Co-hosts Chuck and Oscar collaborated with me to give their podcast a fresh identity. Their goal was to bring a fresh, engaging voice to sports news and discussions, focused on the re-emerging Washington Commanders. With a deep background in the sports media landscape and a strong understanding of Washington D.C.’s sports aesthetic, I immersed myself in Chuck and Oscar’s podcast to better grasp their style and vision. I also researched other sports podcasts to analyze branding trends, ensuring the design would stand out while still feeling familiar to sports fans. Their passion for pop culture—ranging from sci-fi to other influential genres,
sparked my approach to blending bold, cinematic elements with design motifs that resonate with D.C.’s sports identity.
Brand Development
Drawing inspiration from Chuck and Oscar’s personalities and their love for D.C. sports—especially the Washington Commanders—I designed alogo that reflects their passion for both sports and pop culture. I chose a typeface that embodies their appreciation for sci-fi media, integrated the three stars and two stripes motif from the D.C. flag, and enclosed everything within a badge to reinforce a bold, sports-centric appeal.

Deliverables (Branding & Social Media Graphics)
Working on the Co’Mander podcast did not stop at just the branding – I also created social media graphics for the NFL Draft, game day’s and accolades based on the teams performances. The rebrand and social media graphics, helped the podcast gain over hundreds of new engagements through social media and streaming apps over the course of the season.*Also big shoutout to Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders.
